This is a hand forged Viking Bearded axe with short handle from hardened steel 52100 (100Cr6) with a leather case and carved wooden (ash) handle. Steel 52100 (100Cr6) has better cutting properties and more protected from rust. Cutting edge is forged.
Size of a head of an axe ~12*15 cm. The total length is 20 cm
